Tsuna is a complete wimp. He is a coward, and he is stupid, and he lets his emotions dictate his actions. He can hurt, and he can cry, and he can feel.

He is a normal human being, with normal problems. He is afraid of bullies, and is depressed at low grades. He likes spending time with friends, and being with his family, and staring at the girl he may or may not be in love with.

He has dreams. And he has nightmares.

But even though he’s a wimp, even though he’s no good at anything, even though sometimes he feels like the entire world is against him—Tsuna is strong.

He gets back up. And he fights. Because finally, after so long, he has a reason to fight. He has friends to protect, and a family to love, and a girl he tries so hard to impress, because she means the world to him.

Tsuna fights because he is not the sort to be a hero. His feelings are a lot more simple than ‘to save the world’ or ‘to become the strongest.’ All Tsuna really wants to do is protect everyone. That is why he fights, and why he endures everything he does.

Because at the end of the day, all Tsuna really wants is a home to be able to go back to.

“His brow ever furrowed… he wields his fists as though in prayer… that is the Vongola Decimo.”
